Steel-type was originally known as Metal-Type. Looking at the above chart here's a summary of type matchup changes in the beta: It looks as if they were making held items specifically for certain Pokemon before the key items and stuff, and there was going to be a lot more of them to find in the wild.ĮDIT 2: Seems like the TM learnsets here are just ripped from Gen 1. Still, a lot is slightly rearranged when comparing to the final.ĮDIT: Seems like just about every mon was supposed to have held items in the wild, while the final game is notably lacking compared to the beta in that regard. There could be some finds in the evoltuions/attacks list too, though with Gen 2's learnsets there might not be that much to find. I think the changed type matchups are interesting too, the games really could have been different very easily. I agree with the comment in that "TM list", all of them being new moves make it seem like it was an easy way to test stuff out at the time. Seems like new information just keeps coming too.
